The LILIANA APARTMENT is located in a renovated 500 year-old house that has been in our family for many generations. It is the home of my grandmother and before her, my grandfather, my great-grandfather, and his father before him. In 2006, we made a complete restoration. We removed all walls and floors inside of the home, and we built four beautiful apartments. The LILIANA APARTMENT has all the touches of its original Tuscan beauty, yet it is only a 5 minute bike ride or 15 minute walk to the historic center of Lucca. The apartment has wood-beamed ceilings with authentic terra cotta ceiling tiles, plaster walls with original brick insets, yet a modern kitchen (including microwave), bath, and clothes washer. The large bedroom, with both a queen bed and a single bed, is perfect for a couple or family of three (four, if one is a child can sleep on the livingroom sofa).
Large Windows on both sides of the home make it always sunny and airy. Located in a very peaceful and quiet area, it faces a private courtyard that has space to park your car. You can come to Lucca by train or bus, and I will pick you up. The apartment is about one km to the walls of medieval Lucca – shorter with the pedestrian/bike shortcuts used by the locals.
